Brewers Keep Sveum?

Ol' Doug Melvin does it again! Why can't this guy stay out of the "I know what is good for the TBA manager" ordeal? Why when we are in the middle of potentialy the biggest hire of the clubs last 25 years, does Doug Melvin have to go and make bonehead moves like this?
It deffinately isn't that I think dale Sveum is a bad hitting coach. I just can't stand the fact that DM will not let a new manager try to steer his own ship. Obviously he ok'd this hire with the four canidates left on the list, which should only be two by the way, or he wouldnt have made this public. I think Sveum could be a good hitting coach, down the road. Yes, he may take credit for Hart, Weeks, and even Mcghee. Does he also take credit for Gomez? Or how about Ryan Braun's stellar season? Should I mention Bill Hall or JJ Hardy?
Besides the point Sveum's skills are. The main reason I hate this is anytime I have been put in a position like the new manager will be...(Bob Melvin....ugh), you better have the ability to pick the people you are going to war with! The "new guy" will have 2 years to make his mark or down the road he will be, along with DM I would hope!
I just wish DM would keep his hands out of the assistant position hiring. Put the fiath in the guy they bring in and roll with the punches. If the Brewers and the fans want to have a couple of good seasons to make a run, we need a whole new look in the dugout. Some fresh blood in the locker room, and some new arms in the rotation. DM needs to put more time in finding us some arms then worrying about weather the new manager will have the same thoughts on who should be the assistants.
On a side note, if it is Bob Melvin, count us out the next few years. I am talking everything, play-offs, signing our own guys to long term deals, and deffinately the free agent market!! I just hope that when Dougie makes his decision, Mark A., has the stones to veto any washed up coaches i.e. Melvin or Valentine. Mark A. did it when DM would not fire yost, and he might have to do it again.
I also want to say my list would have looked like this:

1. Tim Wallach
2. Joey Cora
3. Dale Sveum
4. Clint Hurdle
